Collaboration for Original Dance Film - Solo Dancers/Choreographers Wanted!

Dancer in Moody Warehouse

To all emerging dancers and choreographers with solo pieces looking for performance opportunities:

Monticello Park Productions, a New York Based Production Company, is looking for dancers and choreographers to collaborate with on short dance films, taking the dancer/choreographer's vision and capturing it on film, both to use as a individual work and as promotional material to help procure live performance opportunities for the artist. We have relationships with many safe and inviting spaces in and around New York City, and would work together to select the space of the dancer/choreographer's choice and the style they want the film to be in. Then, over the course of 2-3 hours, they would work with a 1-2 person production team to capture the performance in a dynamic and captivating manner, the style most likely reflecting prior works created by the production company that can be seen here: https://www.campfirepoetry.com/

Dates are TBD, and will ultimately be determined by the availability of collaborating artists.

If interested, please email max@monticelloparkprod.com with an introduction, reel of work, and pitch of what piece you'd want to be filmed - feel free to include links to works (videos, films, books, etc.) that inspired the piece, as well as general information about your background and interests as a performer.

Thank you very much and I look forward to hearing from you soon and helping you get your works out to a larger audience!

-Max Rothman, Producer/Director/Founder of Monticello Park Productions

P.S. Address in this post is the location of our Production Company - NOT where the actual filming will take place, as that is dependent on the performer's preferences.
