Creative Practices - Mythic Storytelling for Immersive Theater

Third Rail Projects Workshop By Joshua Dutton-Reaver

This new series of four consecutive weekly workshops, led by Third Rail Projects Co-Artistic Director Tom Pearson, looks at creative practices for theatrical world-making, whether the goal is to create an immersive or experiential work or simply to enhance ongoing writing, devising, and directing practices. It is best suited for those who are interested in authoring their own works or knowing more about a type of creative process that pulls from unconscious images and works them into mythic structures. This series is only offered as a single package so that participants can learn together as a group and develop their own methodology over the course of the intensive. Each four-hour workshop will build upon the previous but will have its own unique focus. A performance or directing background is helpful but not required.

*Total for intensive is $240. Enrollment is currently limited to students who can attend all four sessions.
