Take our DTH On Demand Free LIVE Open Class: Bomba on Thursday May 14th and May 221st, 6:30-7:15pm EDT live on our Youtube channel taught by DTH School Instructor Luz Iturbe.

“Bomba” is an Afro- Puerto Rican style of traditional music that reflect the influence of three different cultures that shaped Puerto Rico’s History: Taino (natives indigenous), Spanish and African. The “Bomba” music and dance focused on the powerful expression of Puerto Rico’s African Heritage. In this Bomba class, we are going to learn the basic steps, “paseo” and “piquetes” of some of the most popular “bomba” rhythms. Open to all level of movers!
