Dancing While Black: Master Class w/ Rokafella

Join us for a vibrant movement workshop centering Black creative praxis with Rokafella


Learn basic Floor moves to add to your tool kit as you become more confident with level shifts when you dance. 

Class is open to ALL levels - modifications will be available.


Footage of prior legacy dancers and dance genres that inform Street dance as well as watching some clips of today's Street dance legends. Rokafella will help you figure out which moves you can use to impress and conquer the dance floor when you participate in the call and response of a Battle. 


Bring a water flask, and be prepared to sweat. Knee pads are recommended but not necessary. 

Class will include both unison and solo work. 

Wear comfortable sneakers and clothing. Be ready to go upside down at times.
