In West Africa, drumming and dancing go hand in hand. Experience the connection with the exhilarating steps and rhythms of the Guinean dun dun dance. This interactive workshop is a wonderful opportunity for teens and families to learn about Guinean music and dance in an intimate setting with one of the most respected drummers and dancers in New York City. Sign up by July 21 to reserve a drum ($5 rental). This workshop is part of Cumbe's "Sounds of Africa" Sunday Family Workshop series. Price: $15 for 1 person; $25 for up to 2 family members; $5 for additional family members. $5 for drum rental (reserve by July 21)
