Description: Dynamic and Expressive style is characterized by an explosive yet sensitive quality, blending slow and fast-paced movements that are both personal and energetic. Her choreographies is often rooted in bodily emotions, with improvisation frequently drawing from personal motifs and themes. She is currently developing ideas for a new work that delves into personal experiences of living with type 1 diabetes and PCOS. The research reflects on the struggle between what we present outwardly and what we keep hidden from others.

Brita invites professional dancers to engage in a dynamic and energizing contemporary dance class. The session includes a guided warm-up where dancers follow her lead through smooth transitions between floor and standing work, strength-building exercises, stretching, and floor work featuring set movement phrases and improvisation. With a focus on dynamics, Brita’s teaching encourages fast, fluid, and expressive movement that reflects her artistic emphasis on personal energy and creativity.
