EXPOSED - Four Contemporary Dance World Premieres

NY based contemporary dance company Neville Dance Theatre returns to Brooklyn's Actors Fund Arts Center with a full lineup of new, neo-classical and contemporary ballet works by Artistic Director Brenda R. Neville and guest choreographers Billy Blanken and Ursula Verduzco.  

Premieres include EXPOSED, a three section work incorporating hand held lights, is a social commentary on internet stalking, increasing public surveillance and the diminishment of individual privacy.  BLESSED, inspired by the musical phrasings of Karl Jenkins' 'Benedictus', as arranged and performed by 2Cellos, depicts the souls journey into the afterlife. EPIDERMIS, a duet for two women, explores our need to portray a fake version of ourselves. BRAHMS' DOUBLE CONCERTO, an athletic, a neo-classical work, set to and inspired by this intricate score.
