Fieldwork Summer 2018 Workshop + Rehearsal Space

Summer 2018 Fieldwork Workshop + Rehearsal Space flyer with 2017 cohort Wilfredo Hernandez

Perform in an open studio showing, gain new insights into your work, hone your critical perception, and get motivated by a weekly deadline - all when you sign up for The Field's signature 6-week workshop!

Fieldwork offers dance & performing artists the time and space to take risks, share works in progress, and to exchange non-directorial, peer-to-peer feedback in a studio setting. This upcoming 6-week session will be facilitated by dancer, choreographer, vocalist, director, and educator Naoko MaeshibaNEW: We've updated the Fieldwork Guidelines to be more inclusive for artists of all identities.

Up to 30 hours of FREE rehearsal space will be available for Summer Fieldwork artists through our Adopt-an-Artist program. Participating studios include the Bronx Academy of Arts & Dance, Brooklyn Arts Exchange, Spaceworks (LIC and Williamsburg), and Theaterlab. Free rehearsal space is available on a first come, first serve basis, and is not guaranteed for all registrants. Hours and terms are at the discretion of participating studios.

Not sure if Fieldwork is right for you? Test-drive our unique methodology for a one-time session at Fieldwork Open Trial Day, June 25 at BAX.
