Dancer/producer Antonio Fini, native of Calabria and recent guest artist with the Martha Graham Dance Company, announces the closing event of his international Dance Festival, a series of summer classes, workshops and performances in Italy, Bulgaria, and NY.  The final Gala Performance will take place August 30th with guest companies with an Italian connection from NYC, including Abarukas Dance Theater, Fini Dance New York, and Michael Mao Dance and visitors from Italy: Emox Ballet of Florence; Perla Dance Company of Marche; and Balletto di Pescara.  The evening will include presentation of awards to choreographer Gianni Santucci (Lifetime Achievement Award), ABT soloist Luciana Paris (Extraordinary Dancer Award); and new ABT member Virginia Lensi of Milan (Rising Star Award).
