Maira Duarte teaches modern with Dance to the People.

My main influences are Limón and release technique. I am interested in developing a technique class that can address basic aspects of a continuos dance training. Whole body movements, use of the floor, weight shifts, planes and dynamics will be part of this class. I want also to invite the body-mind dancer to appropriate movement material so it can then be used in improvisation. Improvisation techniques will be revised to be able to identify habits and grow beyond them with conscious choices.
