Isadora Duncan dances and contemporary works for Sands Point Preserve

Dance Visions NY at Sands Point Preserve 2016 Beth Horn

Sands Point Preserve will honor the legendary choreographer Isadora Duncan’s aesthetic  and body of work which were created in the early 20th century – the same era in which this Guggenheim Estate was formed. Dance Visions NY's company of fifteen dancers will perform a combination of Duncan’s works as well as site specific contemporary works at Hempstead House- around the fountain, in the Winter Living Room - and outdoors in the Rose Garden. Highlights include revivals of  rarely seen, timeless Duncan repertory and original works chosen and tailored for this unique environment.
