Martha Graham School Virtual Technique Intensive

October 5–November 13

Following the success of the Summer Intensives, the School is proud to announce a brand new Technique Intensive in ballet and Graham Technique. Conducted via Zoom, it is an ideal program for students and professionals who attend the School’s Winter and Summer Intensives and/or who are unable to attend the Martha Graham School as full-time students. Programming is suitable for any space—from tiny apartments to open fields—and is scheduled to accommodate many time zones from the West Coast to Eastern Europe.

For those unable to join live, the School is reincorporating the class subscription service. With an affordable and flexible membership, dancers can access recordings of ballet and Graham Technique Zoom classes to watch and follow along at a time that is convenient.

About the Martha Graham School

The Martha Graham School is the oldest professional school of dance in the United States and the only one primarily focused on the Martha Graham Technique and repertory. Classes are taught by faculty who are current or former members of the Martha Graham Dance Company, and who trained with Martha Graham herself or with her first-generation acolytes. Full-time programs are offered for intermediate and advanced pre-professional students seeking excellent training in the Martha Graham Technique and repertory along with theory, pedagogy, and related disciplines. Programs include: Two-year certificate, Advance Studies Certificate, Teacher Training Program, and Independent Study Program. The Martha Graham School’s leading educational outreach program, Teens@Graham, offers aspiring dancers ages 13-18 the opportunity to improve vocational skills and academic performance through study of the Graham Technique, composition, and repertory. Additional programs include Young Artist Program, Pre-Teens@Graham, All-City Panorama, and School Partnerships.
