Brooklyn education nonprofit Dancewave has added new Youth Online Dance Classes, now open for registration!

A fun and accessible Modern dance class for all skill levels! Modern for Kids introduces young dancers to the basic principles of modern dancing, suspension and release, floorwork and expression. Students are encouraged to explore principles of improvisation and choreography. Along with building strength and flexibility, students become familiar with rhythm, modern vocabulary and phrase work. Requires the use of a device with a camera and speaker.

Class tuition: $50/6-week session | $10/single drop-in
