Morning, Afternoon, Evening

Dance by water reaching up, overlaid on harbor landscape during sunset

Dance Visions NY presents "Morning Afternoon Evening" an exploration of humanity and nature in 3 parts, created and directed by Beth Jucovy based on a new poetic testament to our time, by Kyra Jucovy. Performed by the dynamic artists of Dance Visions NY with dramatic narration by actor Tzena Nicole. This thought-provoking, holistic, interdisciplinary, symbolic artwork depicts a journey following a river from its source in caves, all to the way to the ocean, with 8 dancers and an actor.  artwork encompassing theater, dance, poetry and music illustrates the cyclic nature of so many aspects of our world and has particular relevance today, with its theme of ending in order to begin anew. This performance will take place in three sites, corresponding to the three parts of the work, on the beautiful grounds of Cedarmere, the historic estate of poet and journalist William Cullen Bryant.
