Munu Munu

New Chamber Ballet Arnaud Falchier

Choreographer Miro Magloire presents his New Chamber Ballet, joined by Philadelphia-based Variant 6 Vocal Ensemble, in the NY premiere of "Munu Munu."  Performed by an ensemble of 5 dancers and 6 vocalists, the work is set to both medieval music from the 1300's, and contemporary music by Toby Twining.  "Munu Munu" reflects Magloire's interest in the relationship of two sister arts: dancing and singing.  "These ideas are the root of the work - dancers and singers performing with and for each other, surrounded by the audience," remarked Magloire.
