Musical Theater Intensive

Musical Theater Intensive

Musical Theater Intensive - for ages 7 - 18

June 29th- July 3rd Virtual (9:30am-12:30pm)

July 6th- July 10th In-Person (9:30am-3:30pm)

Roxey Ballet Company's official school, The Mill Ballet School provides dance intensives all summer long! The first one is the Musical Theater Intensive, directed by Kristen Smith. It is geared towards students with a love and passion for dance, singing, and acting. The first week will be offered virtually through Zoom and the second week will be in-person. In the one week virtual musical theater camp we will focus on ensemble building as well as individual expression. Our camp will consist of a daily physical warm up to start off the morning and move on to vocal exercises and a few improv based acting exercises. We will then learn sections of choreography and music to some of our favorite musicals with a new focus each day. Students will also be able to work on individual monologues and songs that will be performed in our virtual cabaret presented on the last day of camp! This is a great camp to brush up our skills before our in person Little Mermaid Jr. camp starting on July 6t

At the end of the two weeks,  the Musical Theater in-person Camp will end with a virtual performance for friends and families on July 10th.

Tuition: $225 for one week virtually and $400 for one week in person.
