NYSCA Toolbox 2024

A stylized speech bubble separated into four quadrants. Each quadrant contains a set of icons and text bubbles.

Every year, the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) awards grants to individual artists and arts organizations in a wide range of disciplines, including dance, film, theater, and music.

If you are considering applying in 2024, join The Field’s Senior Artist Services Associate Kirsten Michelle Schnittker for information on eligibility, tips on writing a competitive application, and the guidelines for applying through The Field.

Attendance is strongly encouraged for anyone applying, even returning applicants and required viewing / attendance for first time applicants. Note: Individual artists must be fiscally sponsored in order to apply. If you applied to NYSCA in the Individual Artist Category last year, you are not eligible to apply for the upcoming application cycle.
