National Choreography Month

NACHMO

January is National Choreography Month (NACHMO), and NACHMO is your yearly choreographic kick in the pants.

Though we kick off January 1st, join us at any point during the month of January to challenge yourself to create movement.

We spur dancers to take on the challenge of creating against a deadline. For one month each year, we as a community put aside our excuses and tackle that daunting task of “getting started”, supported by a network for collaboration through the NACHMO community. Dancers around the US get involved and share their progress through social media, and in our NACHMO Hub locations we host live events including improv jams, open studio hours, performances, parties, and more. Looking to hold yourself accountable to a deadline? To reimagine an old work? Just to get the creative juices flowing again? You’re in luck, because NACHMO 2018 registration is officially open for business.

Don't waste another minute, sign yourself up to get in on the action!
