Open Level Modern

Class is a highly imaginative and highly physical investigation of ourselves as movers. Class begins with a sensation-based warm up where we ground ourselves through improvisation and set material. We will work on building our technique and cultivating our curiosity through floor, standing exercises and across the floor sequences. Class culminates in a full bodied athletic dance phrase that challenges us physically and creatively as dance artists. Suitable for a beginner but more geared towards a person with some dance class experience, this class is open to all interested in being pushed physically and creatively and working to dig deeper in their dancing.
