Perfect Tension is a full evening of intricate, high powered dance that pulls you into the exhilarating world of stress.  Layer upon layer of the frenetic, oppositional, flopped, and forced, create relationships and dissolve them.  Turbulence rushing to a deadline stops cold, collision brings unification, support is abandoned, and the complicated becomes simple.  We are urgent in our need to give you resolution with the survival of harmony.  How is blissful serenity achieved?  Is it always the optimal state?  When can stress serve you in the end?

Perfect Tension is a suite of 4 dances choreographed by Chris Ferris with music by Loren Kiyoshi Dempster.  Paper Birds Real Flight includes partnering with body size sheets of paper creating its own crunch and thunder sound score.  Bargain Of A Lifetime is a series of tense beginnings, strange meetings, and gentle endings.  Danger Among Friends is a solo danced by Erin DeLucia-Benson with sets by Chris Ferris.  It is a gathering of clutched and accumulated actions, which mount in number, as the dancer attempts maximal correctness.  Torrential Dance Fall takes what is awkward and adds nervous vibration.  The challenge is to turn the dance over to self comfort and serene calm.  We ratchet things up and calmly set them down.  In what pitch will you leave?
