Peridance Online: Inter Ballet Description with Graciela Kozak
This is a hybrid class. Peridance’s hybrid classes will be taught from Peridance Center’s studios. Join us in the studio or enjoy class from home. The Online option allows the student to take class remotely in their own space- studios are equipped with large monitors for faculty to view and interact with students joining our classes from home.
Graciela Kozak was born in Argentina, and trained at the Teatro Colón of Buenos Aires. She danced with the Bat-Dor and Bat- Sheva companies in Israel, and the Peridance Ensemble in NY. She has performed works by Alvin Ailey, Paul Taylor, Jiri Kylian, Mark Morris, Igal Perry, Lar Lubovich, Donald McKayle and many other choreographers.
Graciela joined the Peridance Faculty in 1985, and the faculty of the Ailey School in 2002. She has taught classes for Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Ailey II, Ballet Tech, Complexions, Donald Byrd, Pascal Rioult, the School of Ballet Hispanico and Ballett Akademien in Sweden. She has also been a guest teacher with Paul Taylor Dance Company and Batsheva Dance Company. Ms. Kozak speaks many different languages and her classes are attended by students from all over the world. Her classes are for dancers of all backgrounds and accentuate the prevention of injuries through correct alignment.
