Online: Open Popping Description
This is a hybrid class. Peridance’s hybrid classes will be taught from Peridance Center’s studios. Join us in the studio or enjoy class from home. The Online option allows the student to take class remotely in their own space- studios are equipped with large monitors for faculty to view and interact with students joining our classes from home.
 
Sun’s class is all about foundations, basics and different styles in popping. The class starts with isolation warmups and dynamic stretching. After that she goes over how to pop properly first then focus on styles and techniques to train for freestyle and a short choreography of the day.
 

Kangseon Kim, as known as Sun Kim, started breaking at the age of 12 in South Korea and a few years later she fell in love with popping. She moved to NewYork in 2011 and since then, she has been doing numerous jobs such as winning Step Ya Game Up popping battle, Book of style popping battle, the top 8 at UK B-Boy championship world final as USA popping representative, MDNA commercial for Madonna, Philadelphia Freedom music video for Elton John. She also has produced her own show, WHO YOU ARE in New York and Korea and performed with 45Degrees/Cirque Du Soleil at Stella Artois Hosts Le Savoir.
