SHARING THE STAGE! Art & Activism: The work of Eleo Pomare

Images of Mr. Pomare in performance Alpha Omega Theatrical Dance Company

Alpha Omega Theatrical Dance Company is sharing its resources in the form of providing a platform for artists to display their work. Recognizing the severe impact COVID-19 had on the performing arts community and as the city re-opens, the goal is to keep artists working, creators creating, and audiences engaged. The mission since 1972 has been to provide a platform for artists. During the course of the pandemic, programming was created or expanded to keep artists on stage with SOLO SUITES and STUDIO TO STAGE residencies - now we are SHARING THE STAGE.

For this production Clark Center NYC in collaboration with Alpha Omega Theatrical Dance Company present Art and Activism - The Work of Eleo Pomare. His work continues...

Both organizations share a long history and commitment to preserving this iconic work.

The evening is a live performance by Alpha Omega Theatrical Dance Company including Eleo Pomare classics, a video collage of his choreography, as well as reflections and reception to honor his legacy.

In case of rain, the performance will be in the studio theater.
