Terra Incognita Theater

Loose Ends

One woman, one life. Stories interweave. Time is passing. Coming to terms, or not? Forgiveness and gbratitude, or not?

The material in this piece was developed by Isobel Roth guided by Thomas Richards, Cecile Berthe and Mario Biagini in workshops of The Workcenter of Jerzy Grotowski and Thomas Richards. The current production is directed by Polina Klimovitskaya.

Kat Brown

(de)Composition

Applying it to the Pablo Neruda line “I want to do to you what spring does to the Cherry tree,” lines and layers repeat till words become raw sound and movement loses its structure. From this shambled space does raw sound becomes a song and movement manifests as a dance.

Decay and dissolution: from chaos the true composition is allowed to emerge.

Nicolas Noreña, Timothy Scott, and Hannah Gross

TELE-VISION: on spiritual displacement

A mystical romance, a ballet about human faced with the unknown and the awe, the fear and the mystical longing for union with that which is beyond understanding, be it death, exotic far off places, chance, or an intergalactic being.

Do spaces haunt people or do people haunt spaces?
