Sculpture in Motion with Niccolo Orsolani

(headshot with caption) Russell Haydn

SCULPTURE IN MOTION "Sculpture In Motion" is part of a series of classes created by Company-member Niccolò Orsolani during the time of the Pandemic. After "Poetry In Motion" and "Architecture In Motion," we will be now looking at “Sculpture In Motion" that will begin on Wednesdays at 1.30 p.m. You can take this LIVE class with Nico on Instagram LIVE off of the Alison Cook Beatty Dance page. The class aims to discover sculptural pieces of art as a tool and muse for the personal exploration of movement. The class will start with the introduction of the artistic subject, followed by a short warm-up.We will then proceed to choreography phrasing built upon the chosen sculpture digging into the artist's creative process. This class is wonderful for any dancer and especially one interested in developing their own choreographic skills.
