Sessions In Between
In the history of dance and music, a few things remain constant, most important, being the necessity of one another. There is no relationship like the one between a dancer and a musician. We see it in Jazz, in Hip Hop, in the Ballet
and even on Broadway. We have contact improv and even jam sessions for musicians. So where is the haven for the two to come together?
SESSIONS IN BETWEEN Seeks to do just that, offer a space for movers, grovers and makers of
all backgrounds and training to come together to inspire, create and collaborate.
What would it be like if point found itself in the cross fires of an MC battle? What if bebop and tap were reunited? And what if.... more?
The possibilities of music and movement have and always will be endless, so why not give them a home to come back to?
The once a month open jam session would offer a collaboration space for musicians and movers to improv together. The event is a 5$ donation.
The do’s and do not rules.
