Thanks to a generouse grant from NYSCA, University Settlement is now offering subsidized rehearsal space at its Houston Street Center, 273 Bowery.

Room Details

Sprung-wood floor.
Mirrored wall. 
Maximum Capacity: 50 people
Dimensions: 72 ft. x 16 ft. ( 1,115 sq feet)

Amenities:

Restroom
Water fountain
Tables/chairs upon request
Heating/AC and fans
Speaker and projector available upon request

 

Eligibility: Qualified non-profit arts groups and artists

Eligible Use: Creative rehearsal time (does NOT include auditions, class, workshops, and showings. DOES include table reads.)

Availability:

Monday         11am-2:30pm               
Tuesday         11am-12:30pm              

Wednesday    6pm-7:30PM            
Thursday       10:30am-12:30pm  6pm-7:30pm             

Friday            9:00am-2:30pm  6pm-7:30pm      

Max # of hours per group or artist: 50

Rate: $10/hour (this fee supports University Settlement's services for the whole community, from early childhood to older adulthood - and everything in between)
