The Choreographer's Workshop

The Choreographer's Workshop

A weekend immersed in CHOREOGRAPHY and PERFORMANCE.

This one-of-a-kind workshop gives dancers the opportunity to explore ideas, create new choreography and build a show in the same weekend. Dancers will perform their own material as well as choreography from Ginger, Derek and Carlos.

All aspects of producing a show will be covered including:

--developing choreography and a concept
--site-specific work
--lighting
--music
--tech rehearsal

Together, you’ll transform the internal space of BDC into The Event -- an interactive, sensory experience open to the public.

Adv Beg to Adv level dancers, teachers and choreographers with an open mind and the willingness to contribute ideas are welcome.

No prepared material is required.
