This workshop will be a practical guidebook for anyone who must access healthcare in the United States, in particular dancers, and will consider how you can best advocate for yourself. Specifically we will define terms, types of physicians, and healthcare provider categories; compare insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid; and discuss important questions that patients can ask their healthcare providers.
