ndiLIVE! Free online dance classes from National Dance Institute

About National Dance Institute: National Dance Institute (NDI) is a non-profit arts education organization founded in 1976 by ballet star Jacques d’Amboise. Through our ndiLIVE! platform of free online classes, NDI teaching artists are leading children in signature NDI choreography, a variety of high-energy dance classes for all ability levels, plus a weekly music class. NDI Dance! with Jessi Colón and Jennifer Aks-Neuman (All ages)

NDI Teaching Artists Jessi Colón and Jennifer Aks-Neuman along with NDI Musician Tim Harrison are leading a joyful dance class series on Mondays. This week’s class will continue its curricular focus celebrating Aretha Franklin, the “Queen of Soul.” Grab your sneakers and join us for 20 minutes of heart-pumping movement!

NDI Choreography Workshop: “When the Saints Go Marching In” (All ages)

Join us for a choreography workshop series of “When The Saints Go Marching In,” a treasured NDI repertory piece honoring New Orleans. NDI Teaching Artist Mary Kennedy will review material from the previous classes and move onto the next section of choreography in this final class of the series. Get ready for a hand clapping, foot stomping, soul stirring experience! Let the good times roll!

Warm-Up Wednesdays! (All ages)

Start your day with a fun warm-up with NDI Teaching Artist Dana Panepinto! With NDI Musician Micha Gilad on the piano, Dana will lead a warm-up that keeps you smiling and bopping to the music.

NDI Dance! with Calia Marshall and Andrea Davey-Gislason (All ages)

They are back for another class! Come discover the young inventors of today and uncover your own inner dance inventor! Led by NDI Teaching Artists Calia Marshall and Andrea Davey-Gislason, you will learn an energetic dance and groove to original music by NDI Musician Todd Keller in this exciting class series.

NDI Arts Encounter with Jennifer Eisenberg (3K – 2nd grade)

Join us for a whimsical, energetic, and creative series, designed for young dancers ages 3 to 7. Every Thursday in May, NDI’s Jenn Eisenberg and Adrià Barbosa will take you on a fantastic fairytale adventure through dance, song, storytelling, and fun.

In this NDI Jams! class we will focus on the voice. Join NDI teaching artists and friends as they guide you on how to warm up the voice and learn a song. You will also get to enjoy some incredible performances.
