Chen Dance Center presents another edition of "newsteps," its semi-annual emerging choreographer's series.  Selected through open audition to present works in December are choreographers Alice Halter, Caitlin Javech, Susanne McHugh, Jessica Alexander & Madison Doyle, Catherine Eng, and Amanda Spilinga.  The choreographers will receive a stipend, rehearsal space, and three public performances at the Center, joining hundreds of choreographers and dancers since the series began in 1994.
