ABC/NY’s Arts Leadership Institute is a unique executive education program for New York area arts managers with 5 to 15 years' experience. Participants will be empowered with management techniques, personal leadership competencies, and the ongoing support of mentors and peers. Instructors include seasoned arts and business leaders, executive coaches, and academics.

Curriculum includes:
*Identifying your personal leadership style and values
*Leading others: managing up and down, giving/receiving feedback, delegation, leading from diversity
*Organizational assessment and strategic thinking
*Executive communication with various stakeholders
*Managerial responsibilities in finance and fundraising
*Effective board and governance practices

Commitment: Six full days--October 4, 5, 25, 26, November 15, and 16
Tuition: $500 (scholarships available)
