FY2019 Budget Has Been Approved

All of your efforts have paid off!

Though many details are still being finalized, the Mayor and the City Council published the 2019 budget. It increases funding for arts and culture to the tune of $20 million! Making our voices heard and our work visible makes a difference. We encourage everyone to email their Council Member and the Mayor's office thanking them for this much needed additional investment in the many organizations working to provide culture and art to ALL New Yorkers.

Please join in on social media and post/tweet in celebration of the increase. Tag the Mayor's office @NYCMayorsOffice and the City Council @NYCCouncil to thank them.

Also continue to share your stories, photos, and posts on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter using the hashtag #NYCInspires. We will continue to share your posts and our stories throughout the year!

Thanks so much for your advocacy and hard work.
