Dance/USA Objects To Proposed USCIS Fee Increases

Dance/USA supports the dance field by providing information and services related to visa and tax requirements for foreign guest artists. Such support includes:

  • Government advocacy addressing timely processing of O and P visas
  • Up-to-date information on visa and tax requirements for foreign guest artists
  • Peer consultation letters and guidance on navigating the visa process
  • Forums for members to share information and collaborate with other colleagues in the field

What's At Stake

After facing years of delays and unpredictability, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has made great strides in reducing the amount of time it takes to process visas for foreign guest artists. Dance/USA continues to work with arts partners and through the Performing Arts Alliance to make this efficiency permanent by lobbying congress and working with USCIS.

Make Your Case

  • Improving the Visa Process for Foreign Guest Artists at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services
  • Performing Arts Alliance letter to lawmakers
