Thank your Council Member for
$53M Restoration for Arts and Culture

After months of negotiation, the City Council has adopted the 2025 Budget, which includes a full $53 million restoration to arts and culture funding. With this restoration, countless arts organizations across the city can continue to uplift and empower our communities.

This would not have been possible without the advocacy and support of the arts community. We organized rallies, sent letters to elected officialstestified at City Hall meetings, and raised awareness in our communities. This win doesn’t just increase sustainability for New York City arts & culture, it underscores the critical impact of arts advocacy.

Our win on this budget is an important move to building a future in which Our New York City Dance is protected, equitable, and sustainable. Your continued advocacy is key. As we celebrate our collective success, we must tell city leaders that their support matters to us. This will encourage officials to continue prioritizing arts and culture. Please join us in thanking the City Council for supporting arts and culture.
