The New York State Cultural Data Project is a powerful management tool for arts and cultural organizations of all types and sizes. On Wednesday, June 13, 2012, Dance/NYC will be hosting a CDP Reports Orientation at the Mertz Gilmore Foundation.
Why use CDP reports?
Looking to cut costs? Want to prove that you need more staff? Need a quick report on fundraising for your board meeting? These trend and comparison reports will help you make operational decisions, build the case for support and facilitate long-term planning. To protect your organization's privacy, all the data used in the comparison reports will be in aggregate and will never include organization names.
What is a CDP Reports Orientation?
The CDP Reports Orientation will give an overview of the available reports and is most useful for organizations that have already completed a Data Profile and are ready to use the reports. Please feel free to attend this session with more than one representative of your organization, including your executive director, your development director, or program staff.
The CDP offers regular monthly orientation sessions via webinar. CDP orientation sessions will provide you with an overview of the history and goals of the project, an introduction to the types of data collected, and tips for how to get started completing your Data Profile or using the CDP's reporting features.
