Teaching Experience

 
 Rosa Parks High School of Fine & Performing Arts is looking for guest teachers and choreographers for their 2010-2011 school year.

 

Rosa Parks HS is located in Paterson, NJ and has been around for over 20 years.    The dance department is in the process of restructuring their program and we are looking for teachers and choreographers who want gain experience and have a strong interest in bringing the arts to inner city youth.  This is not paid and on a volunteer basis, but all participants will receive recognition in all Dance Department publications and programs as well as a DVD of work.

 

Requirements:

-       BA/BFA in Dance and/or professional dance experience

-       1 year teaching experience preferred, but not required

-       Strong commitment to bringing the arts to inner city youth

 

Classes/ Rehearsal Schedule

Mon. – Fri.

9:16am -10:36am (Beginner/ Intermediate)

2:11pm-3:34pm (Intermediate/Advanced)

Rehearsals are held Mon. – Fri. (No Tuesdays or Thursdays) 4pm-6pm

 

We are in need of ballet, contemporary, jazz, African and modern teachers/choreographers.
