Audition for video project
The following is a link to a Kickstarter dance project I am working on and will need dancers for:
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/98283275/this-is-ballet-class
It has already generated a fair amount of buzz: it is featured in the Manhattan Users Guide arts section, it was supported by brand names such as Sansha New York and Tutu.Com and the idea has been well-received among dancers and non-dancers alike. So far, the crew consists of
:
Director: Paul Briganti
Director of Photography: Paul Rondeau
Choreographer: Alexander Tressor
Costumes: Sansha New York
7 paid dancer positions are still available. Compensation would be 100$ plus food and drink and the outfit donated by Sansha New York. Dancers would need to commit to a three hour rehearsal on one day and a full day of filming on the next.
Requirements:
-At least 5 years of ballet training (3 for men)
-Acting ability a must
-Men must be tall and athletic (no height requirement for the ladies)
-Dancers of any ethnicity or racial background are encouraged to apply but one of the available slots calls for an Asian female dancer.
If you are interested and would like more information on the audition, please email me with your resume, head shot, dance shots (if available) and a few lines about yourself.
I look forward to hearing from you!
