GothamJazzDance Company is now forming. We are seeking the first dancers to form this company. Because we are a new dance company, promotional performances will be first on our list in order to introduce ourselves to the world. This means that, initially, there will be no monetary compensation. Once people know we exist, pay will be per performance. The more we make, the better the pay for dancers.

We are looking for dancers with the following:

1.Dancers who are willing and able to commit to and are SERIOUS about this new company and are willing to grow with us.

2. Dancers who are trained in Jazz dance.

3.Dancers who understand that dance companies don't get rich over-night, and that we will have to "prove" ourselves and be seen before anyone would want to pay to see us perform.

4. Dancers who can rehearse and perform in Manhattan. Rehearsals will be held on Saturdays and/or Sundays from 1pm to 3pm. Dancers MUST be able to commit to that time frame and MUST be able to schedule any other dance activities outside Gotham Jazz Dance Company AROUND that time frame to prevent interference and rehearsal conflicts.
