Gotham Jazz Dance Company is now forming. We are seeking choreographers with Jazz choreo experience. Initially, this is a non-pay position. However, as we grow, monetary compensation will be available for the right choregrapher(s).

We seek choreographers who:

1. Are willing and able to commit to and are SERIOUS about this new dance company and are willing to grow with us.

2. Have Jazz dance choreo experience.

3. Can choreograph to different genresand tempos of music.

4. Can choreograph "true" Jazz(not contemporary Jazz), and can include Jazz movements such as turns, leaps, layouts, tilts, chasse's, fan kicks, hitch kicks, etc. into choreo.
