SMOKING MIRRORS premiers in Brooklyn!
We are A+ Productions, a multi-media production
company dedicated to merging the aesthetics of dance, design and multi-media arts. We would like to invite you learn about our upcoming “Performance Design” event, SMOKING MIRRORS; a collaboration between A+, KINEMATIK Dance, and illi.SITE Studio. SMOKING MIRRORS is an interactive journey into the fragmentation of the self through the various stages of reflection, representation and media bombardment. By exploring and expanding the architecture of the body in motion we create fantastical, whimsical, and distorted environments where the lines between object and human, viewer and viewed, performance and experience are often blurred. Quite simply we create "bodies by design" and "design by bodies". Expect a bizarre and amusing collage in the likes of Tim Burton, M.C. Escher, and Grace Jones.
