Ballet Coach Needed ASAP!

Ballet Coach Needed ASAP!

For dance film/video project at The New School. The piece you would be coaching is a short solo, ballet variation that will be filmed in early December. Rehearsal are already underway and the choreography is finished, but the soloist would like some professional coaching to help finalize the style and specific nuances within the dance. No previous coaching experience is necessary, though preferred. Students are welcome to apply, but all applicants must have familiarity with the Vaganova technique and feel comfortable coaching short weekly rehearsals twice a week for the next three weeks. The goal of this partnership is to help pull the story and again the style out of the piece and out of the dancer.

Again this piece is for a student dance film/video project through The New School. Pay could be negotiable depending on experience but it would be preferred that this could be something that you could add to your resume and we are looking to develop a relationship with someone where we could work together in future projects where we could pay you more appropriately, as this piece is a pilot project.
