Chez Bushwick's 24hr Project

Chez Bushwick's 24hr Project Nina Mouritzen

Call for dancers and choreographers:

Chez Bushwick’s artistic challenge! The 24hr Project premise is simple: within 24 working hours spread over the course of 2 days, selected choreographers and dancers will be paired at random to create a new and finished work, followed by a third day of performances. The final day will feature 2 free public performances and end in a cast celebration where peer feedback will be distributed.

The 24hr Project’s site-specific mission partners with sites and businesses within the Bushwick community. Each pre-approved site will be selected by the choreographers at random. The project is geared toward creators interested in stretching their personal boundaries and will allow participants to flex their creative muscles, think outside the box, build new relationships, and gain tools for future work.

Dancers and choreographers are curated through an open application process, and final selections are chosen by a panel of industry professionals.
