i KADA Dance is in preparation for our annual international dance festival, KoDaFe in NYC 2018, and we are looking for dancers to join the company for the festival and the rest of our 2018 Season.

i KADA Dance Workshop!

 The Workshop will be held on: 

Sunday February 18th from 10am-12pm at Alvin Ailey in Studio 5A.

Fee: $25*

Here you will have the opportunity to work closely with artistic director, Mee Jung, and the i KADA company members. This experience will include an exploration in a collaboration of contemporary dance, contact and improv skills with the assistance of Korean, Jazz and Classical music. This will be part of a cultural journey, gaining a greater insight into i KADA contemporary dance company.

i KADA Dance Audition!

The Audition will be held on:

Sunday February 18th from 12-2pm at Alvin Ailey in Studio 5A

There will be a Call Back Audition the next day on:

Monday February 19th from 10am-12pm at Alvin Ailey in Studio 1A. 

We are seeking male and female dancers that are strong in ballet, contemporary and improvisation techniques for the 2018 season.

We expect:

1) Attend weekly company rehearsals
2) Attend company open classes
3) Act as an assistant to the Artistic Director and/or Associate Director in open classes as needed
4) Participate in the 3 pieces in the KoDaFe in NYC
5) Participate in 5 to 6 pieces in the Annual Show
6) Attend necessary photoshoots, video shoots, workshops, auditions, informal performances, etc.

Compensation will be awarded through participation in classes, rehearsals, and for the shows and festivals.
