Dance Theatre of Harlem Virtual Company Audition

Now in our 51st year, Dance Theatre of Harlem is interested in identifying versatile and accomplished, classically trained male and female dancers for the potential 2021/22 performance and touring season. 

Dance Theatre of Harlem repertoire is comprised of classical, neoclassical and contemporary ballets.  

ONLY DANCERS WHO CAN VERIFY LEGAL STATUS TO WORK IN THE UNITED STATES WILL BE CONSIDERED.

The 2021/22 audition will be virtual and in three rounds.

Round One: Interested candidates should submit a current resume and 5-minute video reel by January 23, 2021 to rehearsaldirector@dancetheatreofharlem.org

Women (on pointe)

At the barre: grand battement 

Center: adagio, pirouettes, grand allegroa?? 

Optional: one classical variation or contemporary repertory selection, partnering work

 

Men 

At the barre: grand battement 

Center: adagio, pirouettes, grand allegro, toura??ena??l’aira?? 

Optional: one classical variation or contemporary repertory selection, partnering work
