Duet Damir and Tatyana was successfully established in November of 2017.
Damir Tasmagambetov and Tatyana Popova are versatile artists from the multicultural city Almaty, Kazakhstan, located in the heart of Central Asia. They are critically – acclaimed performers in field of Bharatanatyam. Dancers  who have graduated from Rukmini Devi College of Fine Arts Kalakshetra Foundation. They feel fortunate to have been given the scholarship by ICCR (Indian consul of Culture Relationships)  to study this style for six years in Chennai, India, at the  College of Fine Arts  Rukmini Devi Arundale “Kalakshetra”.

They have more than 15 years of teaching experience. Damir and Tatyana are extremely sincere towards teaching, having a high level of commitment to their work. They are providing their students with sufficient time and attention towards their betterment - not only as dancers but as human beings too. They interest and focus lies in the theoretical aspects of Natyam, often formulating study plans to help students engage with different concepts. Hard working   with constant growth in their skill, they remain be very passionate to the art form and the  students, this number reaches to over 150 young learners.
