Like Charades, but with Dance (video shoot/game)

Hi,

We're making a video-game version of charades, but with dance. Rather than acting a thing out, you’ll dance it out.

If you love to improvise, have a sense of humor, and are happy working instinctually this is for you.

We'll be shooting a series of very short dance videos we're currently calling "Dance Quiz". We're booking dancers in 45 minute chunks, and paying a $10 stipend for your contribution, plus we'll plug you on our socials and I'll bring some homemade chocolate chip cookies.

We’ll work quickly and hope to create 5-15 10 second dances with each dancer. The dances will be based on a category, just like charades. House hold items. Rom-coms. Hip Hop groups from the 2000s. Appliances. And what do you know about? Maybe you'll have an idea for a category, who knows!?

We’ll have a handful of ideas and are open to your suggestions as well. If for example you really want to dance a specific “dumb way to die” or breed of dog, that’s great. We want you to have fun and you’ll probably have more fun if you’re dancing something you’re into.

Wardrobe: Please wear whatever makes you feel amazing. However: NO GREEN. We’re using a green screen. We want all of you.

We'll be shooting in Manhattan (w. 27th street)
Time slots available are 12:30-1:15, 1:15-2:00, 2:00-2:45, 2:45-3:30, 3:30-4:15, 4:15-5:00

Any questions, email:  billy.j.schultz@gmail.com

The photo is from our live show, which we are excited to start thinking about now that restrictions are being lifted.
Watch the video for an earlier iteration of this project. The concept is the same, but the green screen will add a lot and we'll have a much more integrated graphic approach overall.
