Twyla Tharp is seeking male and female dancers with strong ballet technique, proficiency in learning quickly and retaining physical information, and the ability to adapt to a variety of dance styles for an engagement at New York City Center from October 17 to October 24, 2022. Those eventually invited to participate in this project should expect to have wide availability beginning in June 2022 and through the performances.
Dancers auditioning must be available for all three audition dates and times: May 25th 10-5pm, May 26th 10-5pm, and May 27th 10-5pm. Please come warm and prepared to dance; class will not be provided. Women are required to bring ballet, jazz, and pointe shoes, as well as sneakers. Men are required to bring ballet and jazz shoes, as well as sneakers. All dancers should arrive at the audition with a printed headshot and resume.
