Gaynor Minden Fitting Specialist

Gaynor Minden is seeking a full-time pointe shoe fitter and customer service specialist in our Chelsea Boutique. 

You would be joining a dedicated team of dancers and former dancers who work together to provide outstanding customer service to a wide variety of ballet dancers from all around the world. Duties include conducting pointe shoe fittings, engaging in online and phone consultations, and processing sales. This is a hybrid position working part-time within the Boutique and part-time supporting the North American Sales team.

The right candidate is interested in a career within the dance wear industry and has experience providing exceptional customer experience interactions. By beginning in the Boutique, you will be trained extensively in pointe shoe fitting and in Gaynor Minden systems, which will provide a strong foundation for growth into higher level positions.

A successful candidate will have strong pointe experience, organizational skills, and a drive to constantly improve and learn. Accuracy and attention to detail are required.

This position calls for a friendly, outgoing, people person with a desire to work closely with a team.

Retail background preferred. Spanish or Portuguese language skills are a plus.
