Applications Open: LiftOff Residency 2022/23!

New Dance Alliance's LiftOff Residency takes place at our studio in TriBeCa and provides three physical-based performance artists with: a minimum of 36 hours of rehearsal space each, a $500 stipend and two Work Sessions. This residency is for artists looking to join a small cohort of artists to share and give feedback on each other's work.

Fall/Winter LiftOff artists have access to book the studio from November 1, 2022 – January 31, 2023. Spring artists have access to book the studio from March 1, 2023 – May 31, 2023. Studio hours can only be booked Monday – Friday from 10am-6pm. Please make sure this works with your schedule before applying.

Work Sessions are designed to share about the creative process, project development, and participate in a community exchange.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, the residency is only available for solo artists, or groups with up to 4 artists. All artists must be fully vaccinated by the start of their residency. More studio regulations can be found here.
